Job Overview:
The Political intern" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Affairs Intern will work under the guidance of the Chief of the Office of Political Affairs (OPA). The intern will engage in various tasks that contribute to the OPA's mission, including conducting research and analysis of communications and publications from diverse sources, assisting in drafting analytical papers, and preparing summaries of reports. Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a range of duties, including: conducting thorough research and analysis of information from various communications and publications, including press releases and social media; assisting OPA officials in drafting analytical research papers and background documents; preparing concise summaries of articles and reports from a wide array of sources; accompanying OPA officials to official meetings as necessary; and performing other related duties as required by the office. This role is pivotal in supporting the OPA's efforts in political analysis and engagement.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet one of the following criteria: be currently enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent). Additionally, candidates must be proficient in standard software applications, demonstrating computer literacy. Importantly, no prior work experience is required to apply for this internship, as the focus is on the applicant's educational background and skills that can contribute to the United Nations' objectives during the internship.

Educational Background:
