Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the Helios+ initiative, which focuses on the integration of third-country nationals into the labor market in the North Aegean region of Greece. This position requires close collaboration with national and local authorities, as well as various partners, to ensure the successful implementation of the project. The coordinator will oversee the development of methodologies, tools, and standard operating procedures to enhance the quality of services provided to beneficiaries. The role demands a proactive approach to monitoring project activities, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and representing the project in relevant meetings. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including: supervising and guiding direct reports, developing methodologies and tools for project implementation, monitoring the quality of services provided by the project team and partners, collaborating with other project components and IOM departments, ensuring efficient communication with implementing partners, collecting and verifying data, submitting timely reports to senior management, representing the project in meetings with stakeholders, and participating in drafting reports for donors. The coordinator will also be expected to perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a combination of relevant education, training, and experience to fulfill the essential functions of the position. A strong work ethic and commitment to humanitarian principles are essential. Additionally, candidates should have computer literacy in standard software applications and a valid driver's license with at least five years of driving experience, which is considered an advantage. The ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment is also preferred, highlighting the importance of interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity in this role.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include a High School Diploma with a minimum of four years of relevant working experience, or a University degree in fields such as psychology, social work, law, sociology, social anthropology, management and business administration, or public administration from an accredited academic institution, along with a minimum of two years of work experience. A Master's degree in the aforementioned fields will be considered an advantage. Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database, ensuring that candidates have received a recognized level of education.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least two years of previous work experience, preferably in a multi-cultural environment. This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage projects effectively and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of the challenges faced by migrants and the ability to implement strategies that support their integration into society. Previous experience in similar roles or projects will be highly regarded, as it indicates familiarity with the operational context and the specific needs of the target population.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Greek is required for this position, both oral and written. This linguistic proficiency will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments. While English and Greek are mandatory, knowledge of additional languages such as French or Spanish, which are also official languages of IOM, would be considered a valuable asset, enhancing communication with a broader range of stakeholders and beneficiaries.
