Job Overview:
The consultant will provide strategic technical support to enhance the quality, coordination, and impact of the Meshwary Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship component within UNICEF's youth and adolescent portfolio. The role involves ensuring technical support and strategic alignment of program implementation, strengthening partnerships, and supporting institutional capacity building efforts. The consultant will monitor performance to ensure accountability and promote knowledge generation for sustainability and scale-up. The methodology will focus on a systems-driven approach to strengthen social innovation and entrepreneurship pathways, ensuring effective delivery and scaling of initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Provide Technical Support: Develop a workplan with key milestones, deliver high-quality technical support for the Meshwary component, provide inputs on curricula and training materials, review implementation plans, conduct field visits, and analyze monitoring data to identify bottlenecks. 2) Support Coordination and Partnerships: Participate in coordination meetings, facilitate collaboration with ecosystem actors, and strengthen information flow for joint planning. 3) Monitor Implementation and Results: Track progress against workplans, support data collection and validation, review partner reports, and contribute to internal and external reports. 4) Strengthen Institutional Capacity: Organize Training of Trainers (ToTs), provide mentoring to facilitators, develop guidance tools, and integrate youth feedback into design" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">program design. 5) Ensure Knowledge Management and Continuity: Document lessons learned, prepare handover notes, and contribute to communication materials and knowledge products.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in political science, economics, social sciences, business, engineering, or a relevant field. They should have over 5 years of progressive experience in youth development, social innovation, and entrepreneurship, with a proven track record of managing programs that foster youth-led initiatives. Experience in building partnerships with incubators, donors, and private sector entities is essential, along with the ability to develop monitoring and evaluation tools for program performance.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as political science, economics, social sciences, business, or engineering is required. Advanced degrees may be preferred but are not explicitly stated as necessary.

Experience:
The position requires over 5 years of progressive experience in youth development, social innovation, and entrepreneurship.
