Duties and Responsibilities:
The Officier Education will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including: actively participating in studies and baseline assessments; contributing to the development of training modules; mapping project intervention areas; organizing results dissemination sessions for beneficiaries and local authorities; identifying capacity-building needs in collaboration with program teams; establishing a complaints and accountability mechanism within the beneficiary community; collaborating respectfully with NRC partners; producing and submitting timely needs assessments, requisitions, and other project-related documentation; coordinating the design and ongoing updates of data collection tools; training team members on data collection tools; ensuring the quality of information collected in the field; participating in the creation of appropriate databases; supervising data entry and analysis; ensuring high-quality reporting of evaluations and monitoring; regularly monitoring project activities in the office and field; adhering to the project action plan; and participating in relevant project meetings and reporting to management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of professional experience as a Project Officer or Team Leader in a humanitarian or recovery context, with proven results in education or youth training. Essential professional skills include fluency in French, both spoken and written, with a good command of English considered an asset. Specific competencies include experience in education and youth training, familiarity with rural communities, knowledge of local languages spoken in the eastern region, and understanding national and international education standards in emergencies. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, along with the ability to address cross-cutting issues such as gender, protection, and environmental concerns.

Educational Background:
A minimum educational requirement for this position is a Bac+3 degree in Social Sciences, Education Sciences, or a related field.
