Job Overview: The Common Review System (CRS) Platform Owner position within the IT Department at the IMF is a critical role aimed at overseeing the strategic and operational management of the CRS platform. This internal application is part of a strategic initiative designed to modernize and enhance the transparency of the Fund’s interdepartmental document review and clearance process. The Platform Owner will be responsible for ensuring that the CRS platform, along with the Guidance Gateway and Diagnostics Tools Gateway, remains reliable, secure, and aligned with the organizational objectives. The role requires a strong collaboration with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, prioritize enhancements, and ensure that the platforms deliver maximum value to end users. The Platform Owner will also work closely with technical teams, vendors, and internal partners to provide operational support while adhering to service management processes, managing enhancements, and driving innovation. This position demands a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills, as the Platform Owner will advocate for the platforms, ensuring they support organizational goals and provide a seamless user experience.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the CRS Platform Owner include:
Strategic Platform Leadership: Serve as the principal owner and advocate for the CRS, setting the vision and roadmap to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and evolving business needs.
End-to-End Solution Delivery: Oversee the full lifecycle of platform development, from requirements gathering and design to deployment, maintenance, and retirement of features, ensuring adherence to SDLC, QA, and IT governance standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements, prioritize enhancements, and maximize platform value.
Architecture & security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Oversight: Apply enterprise architecture principles and enforce information security standards throughout platform and product development.
Operational Excellence: Monitor platform performance, availability, and user satisfaction, proactively addressing issues and optimizing service delivery.
Financial & Resource Management: Prepare and manage annual budgets for platform projects, including support and licensing costs, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
Technical Innovation & Adoption: Promote the adoption of emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.
Communication & Change Management: Keep platform teams and business owners informed of technical strategy, progress, and key developments, and champion change management efforts.
Knowledge Management & Best Practices: Collaborate with content teams to uphold knowledge management principles and ensure platforms support seamless document review and clearance processes. 1

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the CRS Platform Owner position should possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT applications design/development, requirements gathering, and specification writing.
Hands-on experience in coding is a plus.
Deep understanding of business process improvement, workflow automation, and full content lifecycle management, particularly within the context of the Fund’s review processes.
Proven experience managing stakeholders and building relationships across key business departments.
Hands-on experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Azure services and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions.
Educational Background: Candidates should have an advanced university degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in the same fields with a minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience is acceptable.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience for candidates with an advanced degree, or a minimum of ten years for those with a bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in IT applications design and development, as well as a proven track record of managing stakeholders and delivering solutions that meet organizational needs.
