Job Overview:
The position of IC 75/2025 involves providing technical and administrative support for the implementation of the Inclusive Insurance and Risk Transfer Project in Argentina. The contractor will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of project activities, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing technical assistance in the planning and execution of project activities related to inclusive insurance and risk transfer.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Coordinating meetings and workshops with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of project outcomes, collecting data, and analyzing results to inform decision-making.
  • Maintaining project records and documentation in accordance with UNDP policies and procedures.
  • Liaising with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate project implementation and address any issues that may arise.
  • Contributing to the development of strategies for project sustainability and scalability.
  • Performing any other related tasks as assigned by the project manager or supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in project management, particularly in the context of development projects. A solid understanding of inclusive insurance and risk management principles is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in project management software and tools is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, economics, finance, or social sciences is required. A master's degree in a related discipline would be an advantage. Experience:
Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in project management or technical support roles within the development sector. Proven experience in managing stakeholder relationships and facilitating project activities is essential.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the project is based in Argentina and requires effective communication with local stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages would be considered an asset, particularly if they are relevant to the local context.

Additional Notes:
This position is offered as an individual contractor role for a duration of 6 months.
