Job Overview:
The Driver position at DRC is crucial for ensuring safe and efficient transportation for operations teams and field offices. The role involves not only driving but also managing and administering the vehicle in accordance with the organization's Supply Chain Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Fleet Management. The Driver is expected to carry out daily vehicle inspections, guarantee the safe transportation of passengers and cargo, and maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle. This position requires a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and compliance with traffic regulations and internal DRC procedures. The Driver will also be responsible for maintaining communication with the Supply Chain Team Leader and Safety Team Leader, ensuring that all operational needs are met effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Driver's duties include but are not limited to: conducting daily vehicle driving duties and inspections as per the Supply Chain Manual; ensuring safe transportation of passengers and cargo; maintaining a Vehicle Logsheet, First Aid Kit, and Fire Extinguisher in each vehicle; cleaning vehicles as needed; reporting any accidents, damages, or defects to the Supply Chain Team Leader and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Specialist; ensuring Vehicle Logsheets are accurately completed and submitted; parking vehicles correctly; advising on needed vehicle services and maintenance; monitoring fuel levels and organizing refueling; ensuring possession of a valid driving license; and performing other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Team Leader in Dnipro.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a clean driving license with no conviction letter, have experience driving 4x2 and 4x4 vehicles, and have manual transmission experience. Knowledge of vehicle technical characteristics is essential, along with basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Fluency in the Ukrainian language is mandatory, and knowledge of the local area is also required.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is secondary education, although a university degree is desirable. This educational background will support the candidate's ability to understand and execute the responsibilities associated with the role effectively.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least five years of accident-free driving experience, preferably with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs). This level of experience is crucial for ensuring that the Driver can navigate the complexities of the role and adhere to the high standards expected by DRC.

Languages:
Fluency in the Ukrainian language is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of the English language is considered a privilege and would be advantageous for communication within the organization and with international partners.

Additional Notes:
The contract for this position is fixed-term until 30th April 2026, contingent upon the successful completion of a three-month probation period. The position is classified as non-managerial and is based in Dnipro. The expected start date for this role is January 202
