Job Overview:
The purpose of this Long Term Agreement (LTA) is to strengthen the fundraising and advocacy capacity of UNICEF Chile by developing strategic graphic, audiovisual, and digital content that supports fundraising campaigns, donor retention, and institutional communication. The consultant will enhance UNICEF Chile's visual and narrative communication, ensuring that every piece created reflects the values, tone, and institutional identity defined in UNICEF's Brandbook 4.
  • The LTA aims to provide specialized services in designing and developing physical and digital content aimed at fundraising and advocacy results, including the creation, adaptation, and execution of communication pieces for social media, web platforms, videos, GIFs, merchandising, brochures, and other digital or printed formats used in UNICEF Chile's campaigns. The consultant will provide creative and technical support in designing, producing, and adapting materials for different platforms, contributing to strengthening engagement with audiences, increasing the organization's visibility, and mobilizing more individuals and companies to become donors and allies for children. The work requires a strategic understanding of institutional campaigns, a high sensitivity to UNICEF's mission, and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, emotional, and effective visual messages that inspire action and donations. Furthermore, the developed pieces are expected to contribute to strengthening the UNICEF brand, maintaining visual, narrative, and emotional coherence across all touchpoints with audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for designing and developing graphic and audiovisual pieces for various fundraising campaigns and materials, ensuring consistency with UNICEF's visual identity and brand guidelines. They will coordinate with the Fundraising and Marketing areas to adjust materials according to communication needs and deliver final versions ready for publication in various formats and platforms, making necessary corrections. The consultant will also support video production for campaigns and digital marketing actions, ensuring proper adaptation and quality of content. Additionally, they will collaborate in organizing and updating the institutional content bank, managing and classifying relevant audiovisual material, and strengthening the organization's repository. They will develop institutional and promotional materials such as reports, presentations, and informational pieces that reinforce fundraising, advocacy, and partnerships with external entities. The consultant must be available weekly for coordination meetings with the Marketing and Fundraising area to follow up on progress, review materials, and make adjustments. They must maintain open communication channels (Teams, email, or defined platform) to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of products or services. They will coordinate directly with designated focal points to define priorities, timelines, and final versions before publication or printing. UNICEF will define strategic and creative guidelines, assign focal points for coordination, provide necessary information and base content, review and approve products, coordinate meetings, and ensure institutional coherence in all produced materials.

Required Qualifications:
The consultant must have a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Communication, or related disciplines. Required disciplines include graphic design, strategic communication, audiovisual production, digital marketing, branding, and development of creative content and products for corporate media, both physical and digital. They must have proven experience in graphic design, digital content development, and audiovisual production for commercial communication campaigns, marketing, or fundraising. Professional proficiency in design and production tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects) and content management platforms like Canva, Figma, or equivalents is essential. Familiarity with content optimization environments for web platforms and social media, and multi-platform formats (static, animated, and video) is required. Planning skills, collaborative work, and tolerance for frustration, with a results-oriented approach and adherence to deadlines are also necessary.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Communication, or related fields is required for this position. The educational background should encompass disciplines that provide a strong foundation in design principles, communication strategies, and digital content creation.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in graphic design, digital content development, and audiovisual production for commercial communication campaigns, marketing, or fundraising is required. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle complex projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, given the location and target audience of the campaigns. Proficiency in English is a plus, as it may facilitate communication with international teams and resources.

Additional Notes:
The consultant will work under a Long Term Agreement (LTA) with UNICEF Chile, with an estimated availability of 160 hours per month, which may vary according to the needs of the area. The payment will be made monthly based on hours worked and according to the established work plan and deliverables. A financial proposal must be submitted indicating the hourly rate for the defined services, which will remain unchanged during the LTA period, except for annual adjustments based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI). All deliverables must comply with UNICEF's Brandbook 4.0 guidelines and be developed in coordination with the Fundraising area, with adjustments made according to feedback from the Marketing area. The consultant is expected to have their own work tools, such as a computer and necessary software. Additionally, all consultants must complete specific online courses prior to signing their contract with UNICEF Chile, covering topics such as safety, ethics, and prevention of harassment and abuse.
