Job Overview: The Digital Fundraising and Communications Consultant will be responsible for developing digital communication strategies and fundraising through digital channels, as outlined in the Annual Work Plan. This role involves managing official social media accounts, creating and supervising digital content, and analyzing digital communication trends. The consultant will also be tasked with monitoring and reporting on the performance of UNICEF's digital publications and identifying innovative opportunities for engagement. The position requires a proactive approach to optimize digital fundraising efforts and ensure compliance with international data management standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop digital communication and fundraising strategies in alignment with the Annual Work Plan.
Manage official social media accounts including X, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
Create and supervise the production of digital content (text, images, audio, video) tailored for various social media platforms.
Analyze digital market trends in Panama and assess UNICEF's global and regional digital fundraising strategies.
Prepare advertising investment plans for digital media to achieve annual goals.
Update and create content for the organization's website and fundraising landing pages.
Monitor and report on the performance of digital campaigns and social media interactions.
Identify innovative opportunities for digital engagement.
Contribute to the implementation of the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategy. 1
Ensure compliance with data management standards and oversee integrations with other software systems. 1
Maintain updated databases of digital leads and support call center operations. 1
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for content generation and management. 1
Specializations in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Community Management, or Fundraising are advantageous.
At least 3 years of professional experience in digital marketing or e-commerce, focusing on digital acquisition, integrated media planning, and multichannel campaign management.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in preparing digital media KPI reports.
Familiarity with digital media tools, content management systems, and marketing automation is preferred.
Educational Background: A university degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or related fields is required. Additional certifications or courses in relevant areas will be considered a plus. A master's degree will enhance the candidate's profile significantly.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing or e-commerce, with a specific focus on digital acquisition and campaign management. Experience in preparing KPI reports for both traditional and digital media is essential, with preference given to those with over 5 years of experience.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, with proficiency in English (both oral and written) being highly desirable. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset.
Additional Notes: The consultancy duration is 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and office needs. Payment conditions are subject to the contract terms, with payments made approximately 15 days after invoice submission. Consultants are responsible for their tax obligations and must ensure valid visas and health insurance for the contract duration. Candidates must confirm full vaccination against COVID-19 before starting the assignment, although this does not apply to remote consultants.
