Job Overview:
The HR Analyst, Client Services position is integral to the UNFPA Regional Office for Asia and Pacific (APRO). This role involves providing a comprehensive range of high-quality HR services and programs to clients in both the Regional Office and Country Offices across the Asia and Pacific region. The HR Analyst will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to ensure the effective delivery of HR services, including talent sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning. The position requires a proactive approach to HR operations, focusing on enhancing the employee experience and ensuring compliance with HR policies. The HR Analyst will also engage in data analytics to support decision-making and contribute to the development of HR policies and practices that align with UNFPA's strategic objectives. This role is crucial for fostering a positive work environment and supporting the organization's mission through effective human resource management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Analyst will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR services, which include: developing a strong understanding of HR policies to provide guidance to staff and management; supporting the full employment life cycle from recruitment to separation; implementing key HR programs such as workforce planning and performance management; preparing monitoring reports and recommending improvements based on service delivery metrics; conducting research to enhance HR policies and practices; and preparing briefs and presentations for clients. Additionally, the HR Analyst will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with duty of care and other HR initiatives, maintain a master schedule of HR events, and contribute to knowledge sharing and capacity building within the HR community. The role also involves promoting synergies among country offices and participating in community-building activities within the HR team.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the HR Analyst position should possess a strong understanding of HR policies and practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment. They should demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Educational Background:

Experience:
The HR Analyst position requires a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in human resources management, preferably within an international organization or the UN system. Experience in providing HR services across the employment life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, is essential. Familiarity with HR analytics and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making will be beneficial. Candidates should also have experience in working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for the HR Analyst position, as it is the working language of UNFPA. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly those relevant to the Asia and Pacific region, is considered an asset and may enhance the candidate's competitiveness for the role.
