Job Overview: The Country Results Report Lead will play a crucial role in leading, coordinating, and delivering the UNCT Results Report for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This position requires a strong focus on evidence-based reporting that is visually compelling and timely. The report is a key document that presents system-wide results under the Cooperation Framework and aligns with the national development priorities outlined in Vision 203
The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, including the Head of the Resident Coordinator Office (RCO), M&E focal points, finance and operations teams, and the Communications Group, to ensure that the report meets its objectives and is delivered by the deadline of 31 March each year. The report must effectively communicate the UN's contributions to national priorities, highlight partnerships, and integrate cross-cutting themes such as gender equality and environmental sustainability.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Country Results Report Lead will be responsible for a comprehensive set of duties, including: 1) Planning and governance: Develop a backward plan from the 31 March release date, defining roles and responsibilities across entities for data, narrative, finance, design, translation, and quality assurance. 2) Structure and storyboard: Create an annotated outline following the UNCT Results Report template, integrating cross-cutting themes throughout. 3) Data pipeline and evidence: Set a data cut-off, coordinate UN INFO extractions, and report results against UNSDG Output Indicators. 4) Financial overview and SDG financing: Compile a financial overview, present funding sources, and draft sections on partnerships and financing. 5) Coherence, effectiveness, and efficiency: Draft sections on how reform improved coherence and delivery, quantifying efficiency savings where feasible. 6) Lessons learned and evaluations: Summarize strategic learning and management response actions. 7) Design, language, and communications package: Produce a reader-friendly report with strong visuals and prepare bilingual executive summaries. 8) Quality assurance: Conduct formal quality reviews using a checklist. 9) Government engagement and publication: Support the RC presentation to the Government and finalize the report for publication.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's or higher degree in communication, marketing, social sciences, economics, public health, international relations, law, or a related area. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year of professional work experience in research assistance is required.
