Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Specialist include proactively engaging with HQ Program Operations and Country Office staff to understand their business questions, reporting requirements, and decision-making needs. The specialist will design, build, and maintain a suite of dashboards in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric that provide timely, actionable insights tailored to end-user needs. They will validate report data for accuracy, ensure that dashboards reflect correct business rules and structures, and maintain comprehensive documentation for report logic, definitions, filters, and assumptions. Furthermore, the specialist will develop, facilitate, and deliver training and guidance materials in both English and Spanish to help users navigate and interpret reports. Ongoing user support will also be a key duty, including responding to user questions, troubleshooting issues, and guiding non-technical staff in data-driven decision-making. In terms of process and system support, the specialist will assist in system issue triage, participate in user acceptance testing for system enhancements, and contribute to process mapping and workflow documentation.
