Job Overview: The position of Missions involves working under the supervision of the Program Manager (RP EHA) to implement activities related to the production and distribution of treated water in targeted neighborhoods of Mayotte. This role requires the use of an ultrafiltration treatment unit to ensure that the water provided meets safety and quality standards. The candidate will face several challenges, including managing the ultrafiltration water production unit, frequent movement between treatment and distribution sites, and the need for diverse technical intervention skills. The candidate must also be attentive to the needs of beneficiaries and capable of working in precarious living conditions. The first two to three months will focus on achieving autonomy in water production and distribution, being responsive in a changing context, integrating into the existing team, and mastering monitoring tools and their adaptation as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities: The main responsibilities of the position include overseeing the operation of the ultrafiltration water production unit, ensuring the quality and safety of the water produced, managing the logistics of water distribution to the targeted neighborhoods, and collaborating with local partners to improve sanitary conditions. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the water treatment processes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
