Job Overview: The Supply Chain Manager will play a crucial role in defining the Supply Chain strategy and contributing to the programming of the Logistics department at Solidarités International. This position involves developing and evolving policies, procedures, frameworks, and tools related to the Supply Chain. The manager will oversee structural, transversal, and innovative projects linked to the Supply Chain, establish performance indicators, and supervise risk management. The role also includes operational oversight of purchasing and supply operations, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing performance and compliance. The Supply Chain Manager will provide technical and methodological support to field teams, develop and update documentation, standards, tools, and solutions for the Supply Chain, and conduct capacity-building actions such as training and community practice facilitation. Additionally, the manager will lead the Supply Chain team at headquarters, ensuring objectives are met, skills are developed, and the service operates cohesively. Coordination with internal departments and regional directors is essential, as is representing the organization to suppliers, partners, and sector networks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and implement the Supply Chain strategy and contribute to the Logistics department's programming.
Develop and update policies, procedures, frameworks, and tools for the Supply Chain.
Oversee structural, transversal, and innovative projects related to the Supply Chain.
Establish performance indicators and supervise risk management.
Supervise purchasing and supply operations, including sourcing, competition, contracting, and flow management.
Manage supplier relationships and optimize performance and compliance.
Support logistical mutualization initiatives and inter-NGO projects.
Monitor emergency stock and keep abreast of market trends, tools, and new suppliers.
Provide technical and methodological support to field teams. 1

Validate purchasing files according to defined thresholds and provide operational support as needed. 1

A minimum of three years of field logistics experience, particularly in emergency humanitarian responses and coordination roles, with notable experience at headquarters.
Proven experience in strategic management and project coordination.
Confirmed management experience.
Experience in the private sector supply chain is a plus.
Mastery of humanitarian supply chain principles.
Ability to anticipate market changes and needs.
In-depth knowledge of the humanitarian sector and funding sources.

Educational Background: The ideal candidate should possess a technical degree in logistics or supply chain management. This educational background is essential to ensure a solid understanding of the principles and practices necessary for effective supply chain management in a humanitarian context.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in logistics, particularly in emergency humanitarian responses and coordination roles. Experience at the headquarters level is also required, along with a proven track record in strategic management and project coordination. Management experience is essential, and experience in the private sector supply chain is considered an asset.
Languages: Fluency in French and English is mandatory, with a very good level in reading, writing, and speaking. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an advantage but is not required.
Additional Notes: The position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy la Garenne, with occasional field travel required. The contract is a permanent contract (CDI) with a managerial status. The gross monthly salary ranges from €3,842 to €4,001, depending on the current salary scale at headquarters. There is a possibility of remote work for 4 to 12 days per month. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 vacation days per month and 1 day of RTT (reduction of working time) for each full month worked. The organization provides health insurance coverage (80%), meal vouchers (60%), and transportation subsidies for Île de France (50%). Travel insurance is covered during field missions, and employees receive 1 day of recovery for each weekend spent on mission.
