PROSDOMA also connects newcomers to essential resources such as food banks and shelters, ensuring their basic needs are met while fostering social inclusion and community contribution. Job Overview: The position of Online Volunteer for Website Redesign involves re-designing the existing organizational website of PROSDOMA. The volunteer will be responsible for acquiring a new domain name and hosting service, transferring information from the old site to the new domain, and enhancing the overall presentation of the website. This includes making the site user-friendly, integrating a new logo, and adding a developed project story focused on migration and assistance for newcomers. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Information Technology and web design, with specific experience in creating responsive designs and integrating social media functionalities. The role is crucial for revitalizing the organization's online presence, which is essential for promoting its initiatives and engaging with a global audience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Acquire a new domain name and hosting service for the PROSDOMA website.
Transfer all relevant information from the existing website to the new domain.
Redesign the website to enhance its presentation and user-friendliness.
Integrate a new logo into the website design.
Add a developed project story that highlights migration assistance for newcomers.
Ensure the website is responsive and accessible on various devices.

Collaborate with the PROSDOMA team to ensure the website meets organizational needs and goals.
Engage with online volunteers and stakeholders to gather feedback and improve the website further.
Required Qualifications:

Familiarity with responsive design principles and best practices.
Ability to integrate social media platforms into the website.
Understanding of website security protocols and measures.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the PROSDOMA team and other volunteers.
Creativity and attention to detail in design and presentation.
