Job Overview:
The People & Culture Community Coordinator will play a vital role in maintaining and developing the Global NatCom People & Culture Network, focusing on Learning & Development (L&D) activities. This position is designed to support the implementation of the Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) Learning and Development programme, ensuring the delivery of tailored learning and knowledge products that meet the ongoing needs of PFP, NatComs, and regional UNICEF teams. The coordinator will report to the People and Culture Manager and work under the guidance of the Chief People & Culture, facilitating networking and knowledge sharing among various stakeholders. The role emphasizes collective learning and development, aiming to enhance the quality of training and support provided to UNICEF staff globally.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop the Global UNICEF NatCom People & Culture Network, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among PFP, NatComs, and regional offices.
  • Facilitate networking and knowledge sharing on key People and Culture issues, promoting sustainability around UNICEF's shared values.
  • Support the design, planning, and facilitation of Global Operations Community events and initiatives.
  • Identify and prioritize learning needs of National Committees to align with the PFP Learning & Development programme.
  • Design and deliver the Project Leadership training for PFP Corporate Partnerships’ Global Lead Account Managers (GLAM) Academy.
  • Develop and sustain high-quality coaching offers for PFP, NatComs, and UNICEF staff, including Brain-Based coaching and Development Planning coaching.
  • Provide tailored training in Development Planning, Project Management, and Design Thinking for PFP, NatCom, and UNICEF staff.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (Master's degree or higher) in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level degree with an additional two years of relevant work experience will be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resource management or learning and development is required, along with demonstrated experience in coaching and training facilitation. Experience within the UN or UNICEF is considered an asset, as is proficiency in managing communication channels and maintaining organized knowledge hubs for diverse audiences.

Educational Background:

Experience:
A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in human resource management or learning and development is required. Candidates should have demonstrated experience in coaching and training facilitation, with UN/UNICEF experience being an asset. The role requires skills in managing communication channels and maintaining organized, accessible knowledge hubs for diverse audiences.

Languages:
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is considered an asset.

Additional Notes:
The position is a consultancy role, and candidates are required to indicate their all-inclusive fees against the deliverables listed in the job description. Payment will be based on the submission of agreed deliverables, and UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment if performance is unsatisfactory.
