Job Overview:
The position of Juriste Généraliste involves providing legal expertise to both the management of Action contre la Faim and all employees in France, ensuring compliance with current regulations and the organization's values. The role is crucial in securing ACF's practices and monitoring legal and ethical risks associated with transversal projects, strategic decisions made by the General Management, and the governance of the Association. The Juriste will be responsible for guiding and supporting the development of ACF's legal practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory environments and protect ACF's strategic interests. This includes managing legal risks for strategic and operational projects, representing ACF in high-impact legal, contractual, or regulatory matters, and fostering a culture of risk awareness within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Juriste Généraliste will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including:
  • Overseeing and supporting the development of ACF's legal practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and protect the organization's strategic interests.
  • Assisting in the management of legal risks associated with strategic and operational projects.
  • Representing ACF in the direct management of high-impact legal, contractual, or regulatory cases.
  • Contributing to the dissemination of a risk culture within the organization and enhancing the management of legal or contractual risks.
  • Providing legal advice and support to various departments within ACF, ensuring that all activities align with legal requirements.
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, both national and international, and managing disputes and litigation.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in legislation that may affect ACF's operations and advising accordingly.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master 2 degree in general private law, contract law, business law, association law, or law related to the social and solidarity economy (ESS), or a DJCE. Additionally, candidates should have at least 8 years of experience as a generalist lawyer in a corporate, non-profit, or ESS organization, preferably in an international context. A proven track record in negotiating and drafting contracts, as well as managing disputes and litigation, is essential. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of taxation related to businesses and/or associations.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master 2 degree in relevant legal fields such as general private law, contract law, business law, association law, or law pertaining to the social and solidarity economy (ESS). A DJCE qualification is also acceptable. This advanced education is crucial for understanding the complexities of legal issues that may arise in the context of ACF's operations.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience as a generalist lawyer, which should ideally include work in corporate settings, non-profit organizations, or within the social and solidarity economy (ESS). Experience in an international context is preferred, as the role involves navigating legal frameworks that may vary across different jurisdictions. Candidates should demonstrate a strong background in contract negotiation and management, as well as experience in handling litigation and disputes.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory due to the international nature of the work. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication with diverse stakeholders and partners.

Additional Notes:
The position is classified as a cadre (executive) role with a permanent contract (CDI) and is full-time. The workplace is located in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from 41,000 to 50,000 euros gross annually, depending on experience, with an additional seniority bonus after three years of service at the headquarters. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% of costs covered by ACF. There are also provisions for salary maintenance during illness, maternity, and paternity leave. Transportation costs are partially reimbursed, and meal vouchers are provided. Telecommuting is available for all employees within metropolitan territory, with no mandatory in-person attendance except for collective meetings and events, which are limited to three days per month. New hires are required to attend two days of in-person orientation. Employees have unlimited access to the Talentsoft e-learning platform for training.
