Job Overview:
The position of Especialista de energía en hidrógeno verde para Honduras is focused on the procurement process for green hydrogen energy initiatives in Honduras. The role is designed for an individual contractor who will work remotely for a period of 8 months. The specialist will be responsible for providing expertise in the development and implementation of green hydrogen projects, ensuring that they align with UNDP's sustainability goals and the specific needs of Honduras. The position requires a deep understanding of energy systems, particularly in the context of renewable energy sources, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including government entities, private sector partners, and local communities. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Especialista de energía en hidrógeno verde para Honduras include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of the current energy landscape in Honduras, focusing on the potential for green hydrogen development.
• Collaborating with local and international stakeholders to identify opportunities for investment and partnership in green hydrogen projects.
• Developing project proposals and procurement documents that meet UNDP standards and align with national energy policies.
• Providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to implementation and evaluation.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, ensuring that objectives are met within the established timelines and budgets.

Required Qualifications:
