Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiate purchase requests for the logistics department in N'Djamena.
Prepare procurement files for submission to the Finance department for payment.
Assist in the physical and electronic archiving of logistical documents in accordance with NRC procedures.
Collaborate with the Human Resources and Administration department to provide and monitor stocks of household, office, and cleaning supplies.
Participate in inventory management and equipment oversight in collaboration with the Officer and Logistics Manager.
Manage the transportation of goods and personnel, including driver scheduling, vehicle allocation, and insurance tracking.
Oversee fleet management, including fuel procurement, maintenance, and periodic reporting.
Handle the reception, storage, and delivery of goods, preparing necessary documentation at each stage (Receipt Note, Waybill, Stock Sheets, etc.).
Supervise the loading and unloading of goods. 1
Support the preparation of periodic reports for logistics activities, including stock reports, fuel consumption, and equipment registers. 1
Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Experience in managing vehicles, stocks, transportation, and equipment.
Proficiency in computer skills, including email, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
A diploma or relevant qualification in logistics or a related field is an asset.
Proficiency in French and Arabic, both spoken and written; English is an asset.
Educational Background: A diploma or relevant qualification in logistics or a related field is preferred. This educational background should provide the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage logistics operations and understand the complexities involved in humanitarian logistics.
