Job Overview:
The Senior Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing UNICEF's digital analytics capabilities. This position requires a strong knowledge of various analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Optimizely, Hotjar, Google Cloud Platform, and Salesforce. The specialist will focus on delivering effective analytics implementations to support UNICEF's paid media teams and web platform team in assessing media effectiveness and improving the digital customer journey. The role involves providing technical analytics direction for digital fundraising campaigns, managing the global digital measurement framework, and ensuring the integrity of first-party data collection strategies. The specialist will be part of a multi-faceted analytics team that aims to triple digital revenue over the next two years by combining media platform knowledge, analytics expertise, and fundraising acumen.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Senior Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist include developing analytics implementation solutions to enhance the donor experience, managing Digital Analytics and Media Analytics implementations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, collaborating with various teams for strategic projects, and providing optimization recommendations for digital fundraising campaigns. The specialist will also be responsible for implementing server-side tracking solutions, understanding GDPR compliance, and working with media partners to leverage new measurement features. Additional duties include supporting NATCOM and country offices with analytics and marketing implementation, designing global data layers, and developing data pipelines for various projects. The role requires documenting best practices and creating training materials to improve existing processes.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent fields. Alternatively, a first-level university degree with additional relevant experience may be accepted. A minimum of five years of progressive experience in Google Analytics, GTM, data pipeline setup, and related fields is required, with at least three years of hands-on expertise in Google Analytics and experience in Google BigQuery environments. Experience in managing Google Analytics for large brands, working with paid media data, and familiarity with Cloud Platform environments is essential. Proficiency in SQL and Python is also required, along with the ability to build reports and dashboards for business users.

Educational Background:
An advanced university degree (Master's degree or higher) in relevant fields is required. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or higher) with an additional two years of experience in relevant fields may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of five years of progressive experience in fields such as Google Analytics, GTM, and data pipeline setup for digital tools. At least three years must include hands-on expertise in Google Analytics, with experience in Google BigQuery environments being essential. Candidates should also have experience in implementing and managing Google Analytics for large brands and working with paid media data.

Languages:
Fluency in English is required for this position. Knowledge of another UN language is desirable, which can enhance communication and collaboration within the organization and with international partners.

Additional Notes:
The position is a consultancy role with specific deliverables and timelines. Payment will be based on the submission of invoices and satisfactory completion of deliverables. UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment if performance is unsatisfactory. Selected candidates will not be considered staff members and will not be entitled to benefits provided to staff.
