Job Overview: The Data Integration Analyst will be a vital member of the SPINCO team, which is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive set of solutions that serve as the central source of trusted product information for MSF's internal processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality of information within the systems, maintaining and developing the tools, and providing support to users in their operations. The SPINCO team plays a pivotal role in fostering effective collaboration across the MSF movement regarding product management. The flagship solution, UniData, is MSF's central supply article database that details all items available for field operations and shares information changes within the Movement. The Data Integration Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data across platforms, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Data Integration Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather and share integration and data analysis requirements. They will analyze existing or planned systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for integration and data optimization. The analyst will monitor data integration projects, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and business objectives are met. They will document integration processes, data mappings, and system dependencies, and support troubleshooting and resolution of integration-related issues. Compliance with data governance, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, and privacy standards will be a priority. The analyst will work closely with developers, database administrators, and product teams to validate integration logic and performance. Additionally, they will perform data analysis on internal and integrated datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and quality issues, creating actionable recommendations. The analyst will also develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making, maintain a centralized repository of integration documentation, data dictionaries, and change logs, and provide regular updates and reports to leadership on integration status, risks, and analytical outcomes. Lastly, they will contribute to fostering a happy and healthy work environment.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of data integration processes. They should have experience with data analysis tools and methodologies, as well as familiarity with database management systems. Proficiency in data visualization tools and the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders are essential. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of MSF's operational context and humanitarian principles will be advantageous.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data integration, analysis, or a related field. Experience working in a humanitarian or non-profit organization is highly desirable, as it provides valuable context for the role's responsibilities.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in French or other languages spoken in MSF's operational regions is considered an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Additional Notes: This position offers a permanent contract at 100% capacity, with a starting date as soon as possible. The successful candidate will typically be offered a contract in the MSF office of their country of residence at the time of application. Compensation and benefits will align with MSF's practices and the current package in the MSF entity establishing the contract.
