Job Overview:
The IT Expert for Cloud & IAM will serve as the leading expert and primary point of contact within Welthungerhilfe for two critical business solutions: Microsoft 365 tenant and Azure, along with the central identity and access management (IAM) solution. This role involves strategic development, hands-on administration, maintenance, and monitoring of these solutions, emphasizing automation, standardization, and process orientation. The expert will also be responsible for integrating external systems and services into MS Entra ID and the IAM solution as part of the organization's digitization projects. The position requires a proactive approach to managing IT applications and solutions that are vital for the organization's operations, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and aligned with the organization's goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the IT Expert for Cloud & IAM include:

• Strategic development, hands-on administration, maintenance, and monitoring of business-critical IT applications and solutions, including Active Directory, MS Entra ID, and the Azure cloud computing platform.
• Management of the organization-wide identity and access management solution (IAM solution) and identity and role-related processes within it.
• Administration of the Microsoft Tenant of Welthungerhilfe and the Microsoft 365 product range, including collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Teams.
• Independent development and implementation of solutions for integrating external systems and services into the IAM solution, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure.
• Providing advice and support to specialist departments both in Germany and abroad.
• Designing and implementing target group-specific application training within the area of responsibility.
• Ensuring a high degree of automation and standardization in all processes related to cloud and IAM solutions.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the IT Expert for Cloud & IAM position include:

• A university degree in computer science, IT security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, or a comparable field of study.
• Proven experience in managing the Microsoft 365 product range, including collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Teams.
• Experience in the development and administration of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Active Directory.
• Specialized knowledge of security-oriented design patterns for access control, such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting languages, particularly PowerShell or VBScript.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high willingness to learn and adapt.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a university degree in computer science, IT security, or a related field. This educational background is essential to ensure a solid understanding of the technical aspects of cloud computing, identity management, and IT security practices necessary for the role.

Experience:
The position requires substantial experience in managing and administering Microsoft 365, Azure, and IAM solutions. Languages:
