It operates in numerous countries, including Egypt, where it has been actively involved in providing life-saving services for women and girls affected by crises, particularly in the context of the ongoing refugee situation. UNFPA operates 13 Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) across seven governorates in Egypt, employing over 50 staff members and numerous volunteers to support GBV survivors.

Job Overview:
The consultancy aims to hire a consultant or team to provide individual Mental Health and psychosocial-support" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) sessions in the form of psychotherapy for up to 54 WGSS staff members and an estimated 15 volunteers. The purpose of these sessions is to help staff manage secondary trauma and stress, develop skills to prevent burnout, and foster a safe and healthy workplace. The consultant will be responsible for delivering between 100 to 200 individual counseling sessions over the contract period, with a commitment to a minimum of 100 sessions. The sessions will be tailored to meet the needs of staff who regularly deal with GBV survivors, ensuring they receive adequate support to handle the emotional demands of their roles. The consultant will also be tasked with maintaining confidentiality and safety regarding staff information.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant or team is expected to deliver individual counseling sessions for MHPSS, ensuring that each session lasts one hour. They will focus on staff who work directly with GBV survivors, ensuring they can attend at least four sessions if requested. Other staff members, such as those in administrative or medical support roles, should be able to attend at least three sessions. Volunteers in frontline emergency services will be prioritized for at least two sessions. The consultant must manage staff information with the highest standards of confidentiality and safety, providing interim and final reports detailing the number of sessions completed and staff supported. The consultant will also be responsible for delivering inception, interim, and final reports in both English and Arabic, documenting methodologies used and financial records for sessions.

Required Qualifications:
The consultant team members are required to hold a valid university diploma in Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, or related fields. They must have over five years of experience in clinical psychology and providing individual counseling services. Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, and candidates should demonstrate sectoral knowledge and experience in providing psychotherapy for issues specific to humanitarian aid work and GBV, including secondary trauma, burnout prevention, and stress management. A strong ethical framework and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries while working with sensitive staff data are essential.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a valid university diploma in Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, or related fields. This educational background is crucial for ensuring that the consultant has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to provide effective mental health support to staff working in high-stress environments.

Experience:
