Job Overview:
The position of Administrative Support for Public and Private Sector Partnerships is crucial for the effective functioning of the unit responsible for fostering collaborations between various stakeholders, including government entities, civil society, and private sector actors. The role involves supporting administrative and operational activities, maintaining databases of partners, and assisting in the preparation of communication materials and reports. The successful candidate will facilitate workshops and training courses, hold meetings with stakeholders, and support the implementation of multi-sectoral programming. This position requires a proactive approach to project development and implementation, ensuring that all activities align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include:
  • Supporting the administrative and operational activities of the Public and Private Sector Partnerships unit.
  • Assisting in maintaining databases of partners, contacts, and relevant information.
  • Supporting the preparation of communication materials, reports, and institutional presentations.
  • Facilitating workshops and training courses on durable solutions as required.
  • Holding meetings and interlocutions with private sector and government representatives to facilitate the implementation of multi-sectoral programming, including shelter, protection, livelihood, and infrastructure interventions.
  • Supporting the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of project development and implementation aspects.
  • Performing administrative support tasks such as identifying and tracking follow-up actions, managing logistics, reporting, data collection, and procurement actions as required.
  • Performing other work-related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong set of qualifications, including:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, Social Services, Economics, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
  • Proven experience with social and economic integration projects in partnership with government, civil society, UN, or private sector actors.
  • Experience in dialogues with the private sector, including partnerships and continuous contact.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with relevant government counterparts, civil society, international organizations, and private sector entities.
  • Relevant field experience related to migration, refugees, and stateless populations.
  • Experience in performing administrative tasks and project reporting.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, Social Services, Economics, or a related discipline. The degree must be obtained from an accredited academic institution, with accredited universities being those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have substantial experience, specifically:
  • Experience with social and economic integration projects in collaboration with government, civil society, UN, or private sector actors.
  • Demonstrated experience in dialogues with the private sector, including establishing partnerships and maintaining ongoing contact.
  • Proven track record in implementing and monitoring social and economic integration projects.
  • Relevant field experience related to migration, refugees, and stateless populations is essential.
  • Experience in administrative tasks and project reporting is also required.

Languages:
For this position, fluency in Portuguese and advanced English is mandatory, both oral and written. Additionally, a working knowledge of Spanish is considered an advantage, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate with a broader range of stakeholders.

This position is subject to local recruitment, meaning only candidates holding a valid residence and work permit for Brazil will be considered.
