Job Overview:
The Driver position at IOM involves operating assigned vehicles for official purposes, ensuring the vehicles are well-maintained and roadworthy. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive assigned IOM office vehicle safely and responsibly.

  • Arrange for minor repairs and ensure the vehicle is kept clean.
  • Ensure vehicles undergo regular service intervals and maintain records of spare parts.
  • Plan and follow the most direct and safe routes to destinations.
  • Use the vehicle only for official business as directed by the supervisor.
  • Prepare daily log sheets and monthly reports summarizing vehicle statistics such as mileage and fuel consumption.
  • Maintain confidentiality in discussions involving IOM and its officials.

  • Collect and deliver mail, documents, and other communications to various locations, including post offices and government agencies. 1
