Job Overview: The LogisticsCoordinator will work under the supervision of the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director to ensure the logistical performance of the Country Office. This role involves coordinating logistics at the national level and managing international transport in collaboration with headquarters. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Country Office's safety policy, promoting collaboration and logistical coordination with partners, and preventing and managing situations of fraud and corruption. Additionally, the position requires supervising and supporting the logistics team in the capital and acting as the functional manager for the Logistics Manager on bases, which includes a total of 71 collaborators. The Logistics Coordinator will collaborate with the country management team to ensure that organizational logistical policies and procedures are responsive to the local context, providing advisory support on logistics processes and approaches in close coordination with program and support teams. This role also involves analyzing trends, advising, updating, and implementing the Action Against Hunger Logistics and Procurement Plan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the definition of the Country Office's logistics strategy.
Coordinate logistics operations at the national level to ensure effective support for programs.
Manage international transport logistics in collaboration with headquarters.
Ensure the relevance and monitor the implementation of the Country Office's safety policy.
Promote and ensure collaboration and logistical coordination with Country Office partners.
Prevent and manage situations of fraud and corruption within logistics operations.
Supervise and support the logistics team in the capital, acting as the functional manager for the Logistics Manager on bases.
Work closely with the country management team to ensure that logistical policies and procedures are adapted to the local context.
Provide advisory support on logistics processes and approaches in coordination with program and support teams. 1
Analyze logistics trends and advise on necessary updates to the Logistics and Procurement Plan.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Logistics and possess over 3 years of experience working on logistics projects, particularly in humanitarian contexts. Experience with Action Against Hunger is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate capabilities in planning, organizing, and executing logistics operations, with a clear understanding of humanitarian principles, the code of conduct, and specific roles linked to NGO field and operations contexts. Knowledge of various local, regional, country, and international policies on logistics and procurement is essential.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in Logistics is required for this position. This educational background should provide candidates with a comprehensive understanding of logistics management principles, practices, and the specific challenges faced in humanitarian contexts.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, particularly in humanitarian settings. This experience should include planning, organizing, and executing logistics operations, as well as familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of working in emergency situations.
Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly if they are relevant to the regions where Action contre la Faim operates.

The monthly gross salary ranges from €2597 to €2968, depending on experience, and includes a 13th month payment. Non-French citizens will receive reimbursement of pension insurance at a rate of 16% of the gross monthly salary. Employees will also receive a monthly per diem and living allowance of $838 net, as well as a monthly country allowance of €15
A child allowance of €1500 per year per child is available for children present in the country of origin, with a maximum of €6000 per year. Transportation and accommodation costs will be covered, and ACF provides 100% medical coverage for health and repatriation insurance fees for employees and their dependents. Additional benefits include 25 days of paid leave per year, 20 rest and recuperation days, and support for career development through training and access to an e-learning platform.
