Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Technical Specialist include conducting literature reviews and desk research on land tenure, community organization, and conflict mediation practices. The specialist will collect, organize, and systematize both quantitative and qualitative data related to land use, family farming, and traditional communities. Additionally, the role involves preparing spreadsheets and databases that consolidate information on affected areas, communities, and institutional responses. The incumbent will draft technical reports that analyze patterns, trends, and lessons learned, including case studies and comparative analyses. Furthermore, the specialist will develop methodological tools such as data sheets, flowcharts, and manuals to support monitoring and decision-making processes. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Human Sciences or Applied Social Sciences, as per the CAPES table of areas of knowledge. A minimum of eight years of experience working with courts of justice and experience with policies for racial equality and human rights is required. Additionally, candidates must have a working knowledge of English or Spanish and fluency in Portuguese. It is also essential that candidates are nationals of Brazil or residents of the country with a valid work permit.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in Human Sciences or Applied Social Sciences. Candidates with further specialization, such as a master's or doctorate, are preferred, particularly those with a focus on human rights, peasant conflicts, or public policies for family farming.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, particularly in working with courts of justice and in the implementation of policies related to racial equality and human rights. Experience in studies related to human rights and peasant struggles is highly desirable.
