Job Overview: The consultant will be responsible for developing an Export Promotion Strategic Framework aimed at enhancing the export capabilities of macadamia and mango firms in Malawi. Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant's duties will include conducting stakeholder consultations with key export stakeholders, including MITC, current exporters, logistics firms, and government agencies. They will define strategic objectives and priority interventions for export promotion, develop guidelines for the application of the Export Strategy Framework, and assess market opportunities for macadamia and mango exports. The consultant will also be responsible for creating a framework for capacity building and conducting training workshops for relevant stakeholders. Additionally, they will monitor and evaluate promotional activities and ensure that exporters meet market requirements.
Required Qualifications: The position requires an advanced degree in international trade, export marketing, or a related field. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in export promotion, trade development, or agribusiness strategy.
