Job Overview:
The Human Resources Officer – Talent Acquisition position is a critical role within the WFP's Human Resources Unit, located in the Country Office in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The incumbent will lead the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, which is responsible for managing the recruitment processes for both national and international positions. This role requires a strategic approach to workforce planning and staffing, ensuring that WFP attracts and retains a high-performing workforce. The HR Officer will work closely with hiring managers and other HR teams to develop effective recruitment strategies that align with organizational priorities. The position emphasizes a client-focused approach, ensuring that recruitment services meet the needs of the organization while promoting fairness, transparency, and diversity in the selection process. The HR Officer will also be responsible for monitoring recruitment metrics and trends to inform HR planning and decision-making, contributing to the overall effectiveness of WFP's human resources functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Officer (Talent Acquisition) will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including leading the Talent Acquisition Team and overseeing the end-to-end recruitment processes for various positions. Key duties include developing and implementing recruitment strategies that align with workforce planning and organizational priorities, coordinating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, and advising on recruitment approaches. The incumbent will ensure compliance with WFP recruitment policies and procedures, promoting fairness and diversity in selection processes. Additionally, the HR Officer will monitor recruitment metrics, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with other HR teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new staff. The role also involves managing talent pipelines, providing guidance to recruiters, liaising with regional offices on strategic recruitment initiatives, and contributing to HR projects and process improvements related to talent acquisition.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in human resources. The minimum requirement is an advanced university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Alternatively, a first university degree with additional years of experience may be accepted. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in human resources, preferably within an international or humanitarian context, with a focus on talent acquisition. Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, tools, and systems is essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities is crucial for success in this role.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include an advanced university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. In cases where candidates hold a first university degree, additional years of relevant experience may be considered as a substitute for the advanced degree. Experience:
