Job Overview: The Senior Legal Operations Assistant plays a crucial role within the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) at the Asian Development Bank. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Legal Operations Assistant include:
Correspondence and Documentation Production: Maintain various legal documents, including Administrative Tribunal submissions, Board papers, and loan documents. Prepare materials for seminars and ensure accurate documentation.
Project Processing: Assist in drafting loan documents, monitor project processing, and consolidate necessary documentation for private sector projects.
Legal Documents and Information Monitoring: Maintain an updated filing system, upload legal documents to the iManage database, and monitor incoming documents for action.
OGC Law, Policy and Reform: Support the administration of Law, Policy, and Reform projects, prepare correspondence with government and consultants, and assist in contract administration.
ADB Borrowings and Swap Transactions: Compile and monitor documentation related to ADB borrowing transactions and assist in preparing necessary draft documentation.
Research: Gather information from various sources to support legal and project-related matters.
Others: Provide transcription and logistical support, guide new assistants, and serve as a backup for other counsel as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree with a strong working knowledge of ADB or similar multilateral development bank's project-related and technical assistance operations. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, along with proficiency in maintaining databases and preparing statistical reports. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential qualifications for this role.
