Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position within the WASH section of UNICEF Cameroon is designed for students or recent graduates with academic backgrounds in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Science, Climate Science, or related fields. The intern will support the WASH section, which is currently understaffed and involved in several humanitarian and system strengthening projects. The role aims to ensure that children have sustained access to water, sanitation, and hygiene services, aligning with UNICEF's global strategies. The internship provides a framework for enhancing educational experiences through practical work assignments, exposing interns to UNICEF's operations and providing assistance in various professional fields.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks including contributing to the development of sectoral program goals and objectives, providing technical and operational support throughout programming processes, and identifying and sharing lessons learned for knowledge development. The intern will also participate in capacity-building initiatives, monitor and report on the use of program resources, and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include conducting research on best practices, facilitating knowledge dissemination among implementing actors, and participating in monitoring and evaluation exercises to ensure effective program implementation.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in a degree program or be recent graduates with a university degree in relevant fields such as Civil or Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Science, or Climate Science. Fluency in English or French is required, and relevant experience in development or humanitarian contexts is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate integrity, ethical awareness, and a commitment to UNICEF's core values of Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Accountability, and Sustainability.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be enrolled in or have recently graduated from a degree program in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Environmental Science, Climate Science, or a related field. Experience:
