Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position in the Natural Resources Division of ECLAC in Santiago, Chile, is designed for individuals who are either enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program or are in the final academic year of a bachelor's degree program. The internship will last between 3 to 6 months, depending on the needs of the office. Interns will work under the supervision of an Economics Officer and will be involved in drafting technical materials and managing databases. This role is crucial for supporting the division's efforts in economic analysis and policy development, and interns will gain valuable experience in a UN setting, contributing to the organization's mission of fostering economic and social development in the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of technical documents, conducting research, and analyzing data related to natural resources and economic policies. They will support the team in managing databases and may be involved in the evaluation of public policies. Interns will also participate in meetings and discussions, providing insights and contributing to the overall objectives of the division. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications: be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Additionally, applicants should demonstrate the ability to draft technical materials and manage databases. It is essential for candidates to provide proof of their qualifications during the application process.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to be either enrolled in or have completed a graduate program, such as a Master's or Ph.D., or to be in the final year of a bachelor's degree program. Experience:
