Job Overview:

The Technical IT Analyst will be part of a development team based in Chennai, India, and will contribute to the ongoing Agile transformation journey of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technical IT Analyst will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
  • Collaborating with business users to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical requirements and effective business systems solutions.
  • Prioritizing requirements based on business needs and developing detailed business use cases, technical specifications, and documentation.
  • Identifying and documenting non-functional requirements to ensure comprehensive solution development.
  • Designing and developing applications and reporting solutions on Azure cloud platforms using technologies such as Python, Dremio, and Power BI/Tableau.
  • Utilizing Agile and DevOps methodologies to develop solutions and create detailed business process maps, data flow diagrams, and flowcharts.
  • Conducting data analysis, identifying data sources, and mapping data for effective reporting and analytics.
  • Developing software components using Oracle, PLSQL, and Python, and enhancing data interfaces and data lake repositories.
  • Leading and coordinating testing efforts, developing test cases, and conducting various testing phases to ensure requirements are met.
  • Evaluating and resolving issues/errors in different test environments and production as needed. 1
  • Maintaining compliance with the Bank's security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">information security and audit requirements while working closely with infrastructure teams to define deployment architecture and capacity planning. 1
  • Managing vendor contractors to ensure timely delivery of solutions with the required quality. 1

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, computer science, business administration, or a related field, along with three to four years of relevant work experience. Industry certifications or academic credentials in agile software development methodologies are preferred. A solid understanding of financial risk management, particularly credit risk management, is advantageous. Candidates should have experience developing solutions using Python, MS SQL, Oracle, Dremio, and Tableau/Power BI, as well as familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure. A good understanding of key security concepts for cloud applications and hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices are essential. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently with clients and stakeholders are also required.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, computer science, business administration, or a related field. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding both the technical and business aspects of the role, enabling the candidate to effectively bridge the gap between IT solutions and business needs.

Experience:
