The consultant will work under a Long Term Agreement (LTA), which allows for flexibility in service provision while ensuring adherence to UNICEF's branding guidelines. The consultant will manage their own time and deliverables, collaborating closely with UNICEF supervisors to meet project requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be tasked with the following duties and responsibilities:
Develop and produce audiovisual content for various campaigns and initiatives, ensuring alignment with UNICEF's branding and communication guidelines.
Edit and finalize audiovisual materials, incorporating feedback from UNICEF staff and stakeholders.
Collaborate with UNICEF teams to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality outputs that meet specified timelines.
Maintain a portfolio of previous work to demonstrate expertise and creativity in audiovisual production.
Ensure compliance with UNICEF's ethical standards and guidelines throughout the production process.
Provide technical support and advice on audiovisual best practices to UNICEF staff as needed.
Participate in meetings and discussions to align on project goals and expectations.
Submit proposals and budgets for audiovisual projects, detailing timelines and deliverables.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery of services. 1
Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in audiovisual production to enhance service offerings.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience in audiovisual production, including filming, editing, and post-production.
Strong understanding of branding and communication principles, particularly in relation to UNICEF's mission and values.
Excellent technical skills in using audiovisual equipment and software.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with UNICEF staff and stakeholders.
A portfolio showcasing previous audiovisual work that demonstrates creativity and technical proficiency.
Knowledge of UNICEF's policies and ethical standards is an advantage.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in film production, multimedia arts, communications, or a related field is required. Additional certifications or training in audiovisual production techniques will be considered an asset.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in audiovisual production, with a strong portfolio that reflects their expertise in creating impactful content. Experience working with non-profit organizations or in a similar context is preferred.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as all communications and productions will primarily be in this language. Proficiency in English is a plus, as it may facilitate collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
Additional Notes: The consultancy will be for an initial period of 24 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional 12 months. The consultant must be based in Argentina, and only proposals from local consultants will be accepted. The payment for services will be based on the deliverables agreed upon in the contract, and UNICEF reserves the right to withhold payment if the standards are not met. All consultants are responsible for their tax obligations and must ensure they have the necessary health insurance for the duration of the contract.
