Job Overview:
This position is for an apprenticeship as a Medical Assistant (Medizinische*r Fachangestellte*r) starting in August 2026, with a training period of three years, which can be shortened to 2.5 years. The training will take place in Bonn, with vocational school classes held two days a week at Ludwig-Erhard-Berufskolleg. The role involves learning various tasks associated with being a Medical Assistant, including conducting blood draws, urine tests, and vaccinations. The apprentice will also learn to perform EKGs, lung function tests, and vision tests as part of occupational health examinations. The position offers a comprehensive training experience, preparing the apprentice to take on responsibilities independently.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As an apprentice, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to: conducting blood draws, performing urine tests, administering vaccinations, assisting with EKGs, and conducting lung function tests. You will also be involved in scheduling appointments and learning the administrative duties of a Medical Assistant. Additionally, you will gain experience in billing and accounting practices through a cooperative practice. The training is designed to ensure that you can eventually take on all responsibilities independently, preparing you for a successful career in the healthcare field.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a very good secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent qualification. Proficiency in German, both spoken and written, is essential, along with fluent English skills. A good understanding of numbers, strong performance in mathematics, German, and biology, as well as a keen interest in medical issues and organizational tasks, are also required. Good team and communication skills are crucial for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position includes a very good Realschulabschluss or Fachhochschulreife, which is a secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification that demonstrates a solid foundation in general education, particularly in subjects relevant to the medical field.

Experience:
