Job Overview:
As a Junior Digital Device Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing digital workplace technologies within the EBRD's Sofia office. This position involves supporting end-users by deploying, configuring, and ensuring the performance of various devices including laptops and mobile devices, as well as managing Windows 365 and remote connectivity tools. You will be integral to modern endpoint management, utilizing platforms such as Intune, MECM, and JAMF to ensure that device operations are secure, compliant, and efficient across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about digital devices and enjoy solving complex problems in a multicultural and user-focused environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Junior Digital Device Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the management and optimization of the digital device estate. Key responsibilities include: assisting with the deployment and configuration of laptops and mobile devices; supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) tasks; contributing to the efficient operation of MECM, Intune, and JAMF platforms; assisting with the deployment and support of Windows 365; troubleshooting performance issues across various devices; providing third-line support for devices in the headquarters; supporting the Unigy service for the Treasury department; contributing to the deployment of laptops/workstations; assisting with corporate app deployment; supporting Device Provisioning/Deployment and Endpoint Security Management; participating in testing and quality assurance processes; maintaining documentation and knowledge base content; and assisting with reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent professional experience, along with a proven interest in the technologies relevant to the Digital Device domain. Experience in the finance industry is preferred, as well as a working understanding of the ITIL process. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to empathize with users and view services from their perspective. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences. Outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong service orientation are also necessary, along with the ability to operate sensitively in a multicultural environment and work well under pressure.

Educational Background:
A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required for this position. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the technologies that underpin the Digital Device domain, which may include computer science, information technology, or related disciplines.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have some level of experience in the IT field, particularly in roles related to digital devices, endpoint management, or technical support. Experience in the finance industry is a plus, as it provides context for the specific needs and challenges faced in this sector.

Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory for this position. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not required.

This position is a fixed-term contract lasting for 3 years. The role is full-time and based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
