Job Overview:
The Digital Workplace Technology Manager will play a crucial role in managing modern device operations at scale, focusing on endpoint deployment, mobile device management, and application performance across various platforms including Windows 10/11, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Windows 36
  • This position requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Intune and SCCM, with responsibilities that include overseeing device enrolment, Autopilot configuration, and ensuring compliance with security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security protocols. The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously in a dynamic ITIL-aligned environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the digital device landscape and improve user experiences. The role is designed for a technically proficient individual who is user-focused and capable of making a measurable impact in a fast-paced, highly regulated organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage Microsoft Intune for device enrolment, Autopilot configuration, policy and application deployment, and security settings across Windows 10/11 devices, AVD, and Windows 36
  • Ensure optimal performance of devices through effective application deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize SCCM and Intune for co-managed device and application deployments, including Task Sequences and Autopilot provisioning.
  • Oversee the enrolment and configuration of iOS and Android devices via Intune, applying standard mobile policies for security and compliance.
  • Handle day-to-day operations related to device provisioning, application management, operating system management, user and profile management, and endpoint security including patching.
  • Manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM), Attack Surface Reduction (ASR), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
  • Conduct initial triage and remediation of security alerts from Defender for Endpoint, ensuring timely resolution and escalation of threats.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM, with a proven track record in managing device operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital workplace technologies and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and the ability to apply them in service management and incident resolution.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and under pressure.

Educational Background:
A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered. Continuous professional development in digital workplace technologies is highly valued.

Experience:
Candidates should have substantial experience in a mid to large-scale IT environment, preferably within the finance industry or a similarly regulated sector. Experience in managing endpoint devices and applications, as well as a strong understanding of security compliance, is essential.

Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset but not required.

Additional Notes:
This position is a fixed-term contract lasting 3 years. The role is full-time and offers hybrid working arrangements, with a minimum expectation of in-person collaboration three days a week.
