Job Overview:
The Manager, Global Talent Sourcing, Insights & Delivery at CHAI plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's ability to attract and hire mission-driven talent across a diverse global landscape. This position involves leading the development of sourcing strategies, conducting talent market research, and implementing a data-informed approach to recruitment planning. The manager will oversee a small team of recruiters and serve as a strategic partner to hiring teams, utilizing talent intelligence and analytics to expedite the recruitment process for technical and senior roles. The role emphasizes the importance of providing an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience, characterized by professionalism and clarity. Ideal candidates will have a passion for global health and a strong background in proactive sourcing and recruitment innovation, particularly in resource-limited settings.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Strategic Delivery (40%): Manage and mentor a team of 3–4 recruiters, fostering accountability and collaboration. Serve as a thought partner to refine sourcing strategies and address hiring challenges. Oversee execution of assigned roles and manage a small portfolio of high-priority or technical roles. Ensure positive candidate and stakeholder experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Represent the Talent Acquisition (TA) team in cross-functional HR projects.
  • Sourcing Strategy & Talent Market Intelligence (30%): Lead the design and execution of innovative sourcing strategies across global and regional markets. Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume or niche roles using various sourcing tools. Generate competitive market maps for technical profiles and key geographies. Partner with hiring teams to define candidate criteria and search approaches.
  • Data & Systems-Driven Insights (20%): Leverage data to evaluate recruitment performance and market availability. Track pipeline conversion and DEI sourcing efforts, flagging gaps to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition. Contribute to quarterly and annual TA performance reports. Champion the use of TA tools to improve team efficiency.
  • Collaboration, Outreach & Continuous Improvement (10%): Collaborate with institutional partnerships to align sourcing and branding efforts. Contribute to recruitment training content on sourcing and candidate engagement best practices. Participate in the evolution of CHAI’s workforce planning processes through analysis of hiring trends.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a sourcing, headhunting, or market intelligence role. At least 3 years of direct people management experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate a proven ability to fill technical and leadership roles in complex, low-resource environments. Proficiency in proactive sourcing techniques, familiarity with AI tools, and experience with an ATS (preferably iCIMS) are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to present sourcing strategies and data effectively. Candidates should possess strong relationship management skills and be highly organized, collaborative, and solutions-oriented. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial. Experience in international operations and recruitment is required.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position, with a strong emphasis on relevant experience in sourcing and recruitment.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a sourcing or market intelligence capacity. Direct people management experience is also required, along with proven success in filling technical and leadership roles in challenging environments.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in French is highly preferred. Additional language skills may be beneficial, particularly in the context of international recruitment.

Additional Notes:
This position is flexible in terms of base location, pending approval from country leadership and the ability to obtain work authorization. The role is designed for a full-time commitment and is part of CHAI's ongoing efforts to expand its global talent acquisition capabilities.
