The consultant will be expected to conduct research, analyze data, and develop actionable recommendations that can be implemented within the framework of UNDP's initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Experto consultor include but are not limited to: conducting comprehensive assessments of existing development challenges in Argentina; facilitating workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather insights and perspectives; developing innovative methodologies and frameworks for problem-solving; preparing detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations; collaborating with UNDP teams to integrate findings into ongoing projects; providing training and capacity-building support to local partners; and ensuring that all activities align with UNDP's strategic objectives and operational guidelines. The consultant will also be responsible for maintaining effective communication with the UNDP team and other relevant parties throughout the consultancy period.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in development studies, social sciences, or a related field. A proven track record of working in consultancy roles, particularly within the context of international development, is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively convey complex ideas and recommendations to various stakeholders. Familiarity with UNDP's mission and operations will be considered an asset, as will experience in project management and implementation.

Educational Background:
A master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as international development, public policy, social sciences, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with a PhD or equivalent experience in a specialized area of development will be given preference. Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in consultancy roles related to development projects is required. Candidates should have experience working with international organizations, government agencies, or non-governmental organizations. Demonstrated experience in conducting research, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and developing strategic recommendations is essential. Previous work experience in Argentina or similar contexts will be highly valued.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the role requires extensive communication with local stakeholders. Additional Notes:
The consultancy is expected to last for a period of 3 months from the signing of the contract.
