Job Overview: The position of Consultant for the analysis of curricula and communication frameworks for the ERCE 2025 project involves supporting the production and development of reports related to curriculum analysis in South American countries. The consultant will work closely with the LLECE team to ensure the effective dissemination of educational evaluation results and contribute to the improvement of educational policies based on evidence. This role requires a deep understanding of educational assessments and the ability to produce high-quality reports and communication materials tailored to various audiences. The consultant will also be responsible for coordinating with national teams to ensure consistency and quality in the reports produced.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the LLECE team to review and provide feedback on regional and national reports related to curriculum analysis.
Develop and coordinate the design, layout, and editing of curriculum analysis reports, ensuring methodological and content consistency across participating countries.
Review and provide feedback on communication materials related to the dissemination of ERCE 2025 results, ensuring they are tailored to different audiences.
Conduct monthly reporting on activities and progress related to the consultancy, adhering to timelines set by the LLECE team.
Facilitate consultations and feedback sessions with participating countries to incorporate their observations into the reports.
Ensure that the communication of results from the ERCE 2025 evaluation is effective and reaches relevant stakeholders in the educational system.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field with extensive experience in educational evaluation.
Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, educational policy, or a related field.
At least 8 years of demonstrated professional experience in educational quality evaluation.
Proven experience in the preparation and publication of national and international reports.
Experience in coordinating and managing educational projects at national or international levels.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Psychology, or Social Sciences, along with a master's degree that is directly related to the tasks required for this consultancy. This educational background is essential to ensure that the consultant has the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to effectively contribute to the analysis and evaluation of educational curricula.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in educational evaluation, with a strong emphasis on large-scale assessments. Candidates should have a proven track record of working on educational projects, particularly those involving the analysis and dissemination of educational data and results. Experience with international organizations in the field of educational evaluation is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, given the regional focus of the consultancy. Proficiency in English is also highly desirable, as it may be necessary for communication with international stakeholders and for the preparation of reports that may be disseminated beyond the Spanish-speaking context. Knowledge of other languages relevant to the region may be considered an asset.
