Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to support project development and implementation.
Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and documentation related to project activities.
Collaborating with project teams to identify needs and provide technical assistance as required.
Monitoring project progress and providing feedback to ensure alignment with objectives.
Engaging with stakeholders to gather information and facilitate communication between different parties involved in the projects.
Supporting the organization of workshops, meetings, and other events related to project activities.
Ensuring compliance with UNDP policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Providing recommendations for improvements based on research findings and project evaluations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong background in research methodologies and technical support. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders is essential. Familiarity with UNDP's operational procedures and project management principles will be considered an asset. Additionally, candidates should have strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
Educational Background: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social sciences, international development, public administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees (master's or higher) will be considered an advantage, particularly in areas relevant to the UNDP's work.
