Job Overview:
The Human Resources Analyst position within the Performance Management Team at the IMF is crucial for supporting the performance management program and related initiatives. The role involves assisting in the daily operations of the performance management program, which includes drafting communications, maintaining data, and supporting the year-end Annual Performance Review (APR) process. The analyst will also coordinate logistics for briefings and meetings, respond to staff inquiries, and provide support for various projects within the division. This position requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of HR programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support for the performance management program, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Draft key communications related to the performance management program, coordinating with relevant parties to ensure timely distribution.
  • Maintain and update data related to the performance management program, supporting analytical work and ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist in the year-end APR process by performing eligibility and rating validations, as well as conducting four-eye checks according to established policies.
  • Regularly update information on the HRD website related to performance management.
  • Coordinate logistics for briefings and team meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Respond to staff inquiries escalated to Tier 3 through ServiceNow, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Support the B4/B5 annual performance review process, including data preparation and document/materials preparation.
  • Provide general support for ad-hoc projects within the division as needed, particularly during peak business cycles. 1
  • Assist the LIC-FCS program by coordinating with the OE Division on quarterly reviews and disseminating review files to Client Services. 1
  • Update Workday following ad-hoc reviews and collaborate with Functional Admin on system enhancements for performance and career programs.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a combination of training and experience equivalent to the completion of secondary school education, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience for Grade A04, six years for Grade A05, or a university degree in Human Resources or a related field for Grade A0
  • Alternatively, candidates may qualify with two years of HR experience at the previous grade level. Desired experiences include coordinating large-scale programs, website development, and familiarity with the Fund's performance management cycle. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills are essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a secondary school education for lower grades (A04 and A05) and a university degree in Human Resources or a related field for Grade A0
  • This educational foundation is critical for understanding HR policies and practices, as well as for effectively managing performance-related tasks.

Experience:
The level of experience required varies by grade: a minimum of four years of relevant experience for Grade A04, six years for Grade A05, or two years of HR experience at the previous grade level for Grade A0
  • Candidates should have experience in HR functions, project coordination, and familiarity with performance management processes.

Languages:
