Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the operation and maintenance services of WASH activities in the assigned project, ensuring effective hygiene promotion by implementing partners.
Monitor the construction of water and sanitation infrastructures, providing technical and administrative support to project assistants and implementing partners.
Collaborate with the WASH Project Manager to develop detailed implementation plans and standard operating procedures for WASH activities.
Implement systematic monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to capture real-time data, producing analytical reports on project progress.
Conduct regular field visits to project sites to verify the quality of work and provide feedback to service providers and partners.
Ensure compliance with the Environmental and Social Code of Practice during project implementation.
Promote community participation in program implementation and future maintenance of WASH facilities.
Maintain effective coordination with various stakeholders, including local authorities and community organizations, to achieve program objectives.
Document project activity progress, prepare financial and technical records, and finalize periodic reports for internal and external sharing.

Liaise with procurement and logistics units to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage stock levels of prepositioned materials.
Required Qualifications:
University degree in Civil, Water, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution, or a school diploma with extensive relevant experience.
At least five years of professional experience in a camp humanitarian setting, with a focus on managing large-scale WASH interventions.
Previous experience in project management with international humanitarian organizations or NGOs in multicultural settings is preferred.
Strong understanding of environmental and social aspects related to WASH program implementation, along with occupational health and safety knowledge.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a university degree in Civil, Water, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited academic institution. Alternatively, a school diploma with seven years of relevant experience is acceptable. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in engineering principles applicable to WASH projects.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in managing WASH interventions in humanitarian settings. Experience working with local communities and managing community-based projects is essential. Previous work with international humanitarian organizations or NGOs in a refugee context is advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Languages: Fluency in English and Bengali is mandatory, with proficiency in the local Chittagong language considered an advantage. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders and community members.
