Job Overview:
The Driver position at CRS is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of staff and goods. The role involves providing excellent customer service through prompt and courteous deliveries, as well as performing general warehouse duties as needed. The driver is expected to operate the vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and organizational policies. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Take instructions from the supervisor regarding daily deliveries or pick/drop services.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking tires, engines, and seatbelts to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Ensure that the vehicle’s fluids are at optimal levels before starting any trip.
  • Clean the vehicle’s interior and exterior, including seats, rugs, dashboards, and mats on a daily basis.
  • Assist in loading and unloading packages onto trucks and vans as required.
  • Aid passengers with luggage and boarding during transport.
  • Plan and mentally chart out the best possible routes to reach desired destinations.
  • Utilize maps and GPS to assist in navigating actual routes.
  • Maintain professional decorum during commute times, representing CRS positively. 1
  • Pick up and drop off company professionals to and from designated locations. 1
  • Make deliveries while maintaining accurate knowledge of destinations and contacts. 1
  • Handle customer complaints by taking and forwarding them to the supervisor. 1
  • Return the vehicle to the company following strict timelines. 1
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to the vehicle as needed. 1
  • Conduct general and preventative maintenance on the vehicle according to scheduled timings. 1
  • Ensure the vehicle is washed according to specific instructions when necessary. 1
  • Handle general maintenance tasks for the vehicle as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School completion (Grade 10/12) is mandatory.
  • A valid Grade 3 driving license is required.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant driving experience is necessary.
