Job Overview: The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is within the Grants and Partnership Management area, specifically in the Private Partnerships Service of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL. The intern will work under the authority of the head of the Private Partnerships Service and will be part of a team that includes the service manager, a private partnerships officer, and another assistant. The intern's role will involve actively contributing to the management and monitoring of private partnership relations, as well as prospecting and developing new potential private partnerships to finance and develop the NGO's projects. The intern will collaborate closely with other departments, including development and communication, programs, finance, and operations. The tasks are transversal, requiring autonomy, rigor, and versatility. A strong understanding of or desire to deepen knowledge of the humanitarian sector is essential. The tasks outlined in this announcement may evolve based on ongoing work at headquarters and organizational needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support in managing partnerships: - Assist in drafting framework documents (preparation of project sheets, reports, letters, etc.); - Help in monitoring partner data (updating partnership tracking tools and prospecting tools such as CRM, etc.); - Support communication about partnerships on social media and professional networks, and assist in organizing events and meetings with partners; - Aid in writing pitches and proposals for grant requests and project presentations.
Monitoring and Prospecting: - Maintain awareness of current events related to private partners and project calls to disseminate internally; - Actively participate in the prospecting effort and contacting potential private partners.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should have higher education in fields such as political science, humanitarian studies, international relations, business studies, communication, or commerce. They should be autonomous and proactive with strong writing skills. A sensitivity to the mission and causes of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is crucial. Candidates must be fluent in both French and English. Previous experience (internship) in a company or association is a plus.
Educational Background: The position requires candidates to have completed higher education studies in relevant fields such as political science, humanitarian studies, international relations, business studies, communication, or commerce. Public transport costs will be covered at 50% by SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL. Additionally, interns will receive meal vouchers worth €8.90 per day worked, with SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL contributing 60%. Remote work is possible.
