Job Overview:
The position of Warehouse Maintenance and Goods Receipt Support is crucial for ensuring the effective management of warehouse operations. The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting activities related to the maintenance of warehouse facilities, the receipt of goods, and their proper storage and dispatch. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Maintenance and Goods Receipt Support position include:
  • Supporting the maintenance of warehousing/storage facilities by conducting regular inspections and cleaning to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assisting with the preparation of warehouse/storage facilities for the receipt and dispatch of goods, including organizing the layout for optimal storage and accessibility.
  • Helping with loading and offloading activities, ensuring that goods are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Preparing necessary documentation for goods receipt, dispatch, damage, loss, and disposal, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as clerks and logistics officers, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding inventory levels and needs.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders, including transporter representatives and laborers, to facilitate the movement of goods and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Warehouse Maintenance and Goods Receipt Support position include:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, demonstrating a foundational understanding of warehouse management principles.
