Job Overview:
The Senior Assistant for The Boundless Fellowship plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office by performing a variety of administrative duties. The Senior Assistant will primarily support the Boundless Fellowship program, dedicating 60% of their time to this initiative, while the remaining 40% will be allocated to assisting the Office of the CEO. The role involves managing complex schedules, processing expense reports, and providing administrative support for group travel and events. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days a week in the Washington, D.C. office, and offers a salary range of $50,100 - $62,600.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Assistant's responsibilities include filing and processing expense reports for both the Boundless Fellowship and the Office of the CEO. They will manage communication by answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and handling requests from various stakeholders. The role also involves document preparation, including composing correspondence and complex reports, as well as assisting with the organization of group travel and events. Calendar management and travel itinerary preparation for the CEO are essential duties, along with maintaining logs and records, validating data, and resolving any discrepancies. General office duties such as making travel arrangements, coordinating mailings, and preparing materials for meetings are also part of the role. The Senior Assistant may supervise part-time or temporary staff and assist with their training and orientation. Additionally, they will establish and maintain department files and perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of professional experience in support roles, with a minimum of 1 year managing complex schedules, travel, and expense reports. Strong grammar and proofreading skills are essential for minor document editing. Proficiency in office technology, including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Zoom, and OneDrive, is required. The ability to operate standard office machines and experience in detail-oriented roles involving finances or budgets are also necessary. A preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Educational Background:
