Job Overview:

  • Take proactive measures to prevent projects from going into deficit.
  • Assist in the annual budget preparation for the Staff Learning Unit.
  • Validate salary allocations to projects in accordance with IOM’s projectization criteria.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the ITM Division to provide oversight of supply chain services, including managing contracts with suppliers and related administrative authorities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field from an accredited institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or a University degree in the same fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional certification as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of financial administration, including financial management, accounting, and budgeting.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or a related field from an accredited academic institution. Alternatively, a University degree in the aforementioned fields is acceptable if accompanied by four years of relevant professional experience. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA are considered advantageous and enhance the candidate's qualifications.

Experience:
Candidates should have experience in all areas of financial administration, including financial management, accounting, and budgeting.
