Job Overview:
The Education Intern will support WWF’s Wild Classroom program, which aims to enhance the capacity of educators by developing environmental education resources that inspire and engage K-12 students. The intern will be involved in the strategy, development, and outreach of educational materials, contributing to the creation of engaging resources such as written curriculum, video tutorials, and interactive events. This role requires collaboration with various programmatic teams, including oceans, wildlife, and climate, as well as marketing and communication teams, to ensure the successful implementation of educational initiatives. The intern will also stay updated on trends in education and inclusive learning techniques, contributing to the program's content priorities and marketing efforts to expand the reach of Wild Classroom.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will have a variety of responsibilities, including assisting in the creation and development of educational resources, managing educational partnerships, and supporting the outreach efforts of the Wild Classroom program. Specific duties include developing written curriculum, video tutorials, and student materials, monitoring the Wild Classroom email inbox, responding to inquiries, reviewing program communications, and evaluating the performance of program tactics. The intern will also contribute to marketing efforts by sharing program updates internally and externally, and will perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the program.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in or have completed a bachelor’s degree, preferably in education or environmental sciences. Experience in educating youth, either formally or informally, is essential, along with experience in developing educational materials for various learning settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Google Drive, and Canva is required, while familiarity with AI and Adobe Suite is appreciated. Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail are crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creative thinking, initiative, and a passion for education and conservation, aligning with WWF’s mission and values.

Educational Background:
A bachelor’s degree in education, environmental sciences, or a related field is preferred. Current enrollment in a relevant degree program is also acceptable, indicating that the candidate is actively pursuing education in a field that aligns with the responsibilities of the internship.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have experience in educating youth, whether through formal teaching roles or informal educational settings. Additionally, experience in developing educational materials is necessary, showcasing the candidate's ability to create resources that are effective in both formal and nonformal learning environments.

Languages:
