Job Overview:
The position of Técnico/a de Orientación Laboral involves providing comprehensive career guidance and support to job seekers in Extremadura. The Técnico/a will also be responsible for developing personalized action plans, conducting workshops on job search techniques, and providing information on labor market trends. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual assessments of clients to determine their skills, interests, and career goals.
  • Develop personalized action plans for job seekers to enhance their employability.
  • Provide guidance on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
  • Organize and conduct workshops and training sessions on various employment-related topics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor market trends and job opportunities in the region.
  • Collaborate with local businesses to identify job openings and promote client placements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients in their job search and provide ongoing support.
  • Prepare reports on client outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Participate in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about employment services available.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • Knowledge of labor market trends and employment services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in career counseling or related fields is preferred.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in psychology, human resources, social work, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in career counseling or coaching are advantageous.

Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in career counseling, employment services, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with diverse populations and understanding their unique challenges in the job market is essential.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory. Proficiency in English or other languages is a plus and will be considered an asset for the position.
